New Acadia same size as my Nox?

I just seen the new 2018 Acadia in my work parking lot.
At first I thought it was a Terrain.
It was about the same size as my 2011 equinox!
I read that the Acadia and the Traverse have gone separate ways on size, but seriously why bother to even have the Acadia?
Lesson here is if you still want a Nox or Terrain with a 3.6l then just get the Acadia.

Here are the specs

2018 Acadia
Wheelbase(in): 112.5
Length, Overall (in): 193.6
Width, Max w/o mirrors (in): 75.4
Height, Overall (in): 66

2011 Equinox
Wheelbase(in): 112.5
Length, Overall (in): 187.8
Width, Max w/o mirrors (in): 72.5
Height, Overall (in): 66.3

2018 Traverse
Wheelbase(in): 120.9
Length, Overall (in): 204.3
Width, Max w/o mirrors (in): 78.6
Height, Overall (in): 70.7

Jeff from Iowa, Purchased 2011 Nox in Nov. 2016, Manufacture date 10-10, 2.4l, AWD

Same here.. A 2018 Acadia was in front of me pulling out of my neighborhood. I thought it was a Terrain. Then I pulled up behind it at a stop sign and saw the Acadia on it. We turned onto the main boulevard and it came to a stop right beside an old Acadia.
Wow. . what a difference. The profile, rear windows and over all looks much smaller than the old Acadia.

Keeping my 2015 Equinox with the 3.6L.
